Emotional pressures on leaders are increasing…

We are in the midst of huge shifts in the ways we lead people, there are no obvious answers to what it will mean to be a successful leader in the future although some things are becoming clearer – business will need to become a more human experience.

AI is already sweeping away thousands of traditional jobs. Some fear the consequences – the end of jobs for humans. Others point to AI removing the drudgery and monotonous work, releasing humans to explore new opportunities.

The emotional pressures on leaders are increasing, employees have different expectations of what they want from their jobs and the people who lead them. Some are coping others need help, many are starting to understand the vital importance of their emotional intelligence in building better relationships.

The whole emotional landscape is shifting – leaders need to understand this and how to shape the landscape in their business and how to address their own personal landscape.

I’ve been deeply involved with helping leaders positively shape the ways they lead – adapting to the emotional pressures. With this in mind, I’ve created a new approach – Emotional Landscaping for Leaders and written a new book AHA! leadership insights for making business a more human experience.
